
John Ntibonera is a Christian Country Artist singer-songwriter, a humanitarian and a storyteller originally from the democratic republic of the Congo . John has received recognition award by the world top prominent listening room for songwriters in Nashville Teneese “Bluebird Cafe ” 2025 Golden pick contest winner Songwriter of the month for his new song Congo Cowboy. in 2023 John was invited at Bluebird cafe to play along side 4 times multi Grammy award winner songwriter Josh Kearl, the writer of “ Need you Now” by Lady A country group. He has also share the stage with Zack Kale writer of country artist Ella Langley and a writer and producer at Sonny Music Publishing. John incorporates elements from various genres, including country music, folk, soft christian pop Rock mixed with his Congo African sound into his work. John is also a member of a worship team at World Out Reach church in Murfresboro TN under the leadership of Pastor Allen Jackson , and a music director 12 time Dove award winner producer Steven V. Taylor. As a former refugee, John Ntibonera moved to the USA with his family from the Democratic Republic of Congo during his teenage years, Now living in music city Nashville Teneese. He began singing and writing songs as a means to survive as a refugee. John's first experience wearing shoes occurred when he was nine years old, as he had previously fled war without shoes. After settling in the United States, John and his brother founded the Ntibonera Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing shoes and humanitarian supplies to the people of Congo who have been affected by war. John uses his music to raise awareness and raise funds for his non profit organization through benefits concertsThe foundation's long-term objective is to establish a shoe factory, generating employment opportunities, alleviating poverty, and enabling children to attend school.
